WWE Monday Night Raw continues. We see a replay of the startling opening segment where Randy Orton challenged Christian to an Unsanctioned match. We then see Christian backstage talking on the phone where he says he knows the risks. He doesn’t know what he’s going to do. Meanwhile Seth Rollins comes to the ring just like he said and says that while Rey Mysterio may not be cleared he just wants to state the facts. He says Rey Mysterio is a hero, who sacrificed himself for the greater good and the future of Monday Night Raw, that is the truth. But sadly Rey Mysterio declined his invitation, he took the coward’s way out. But fortunately his son Dominik Mysterio has taken it upon himself to come here on behalf of the Mysterio family.
Rey appears on the tron and gets Seth’s attention and wants him to hear him out. He didn’t know that Dominik was on his way to Raw until it was too late. He couldn’t stop him, but he knows what Seth was capable of. He wants to give him one warning. Seth interrupts and asks if he thinks he’s going to hurt his son, he just wants to help Dominik. Says Rey sacrificed himself for the future of Monday Night Raw and Dominik is part of that future. He says he wants to encourage Dominik to join him… to join him and Murphy and Theory.
This baffles Rey Mysterio who calls Seth loco and tells him that Dominik will never join him. Seth says if that’s true, if he will not be part of the solution than he will be part of the problem and if he is part of the problem than he must be sacrificed. Now Rey gives the warning: if Seth or any of his goons touch his son, he will end them. Seth says “an eye for an eye”, that’s what you said right? But unfortunately, Dominik is an adult and he can make his own decisions. He can make his choice, come along with him and stand on the right side of history. Or… he can make the choice that Rey made and become a sacrifice as well. Either way, he wants to thank Rey… but Dominik jumps Rollins from behind mid-sentence! He drives him from the ring and throws him into the steps!
Austin Theory and Buddy Murphy rush out to the ring, Rey is trying to ask Dominik to get out of there, he manages to evade them both quite stylishly, leaping over their head and ducking out to the crowd! The plexiglass is actually significant here as it helps block their path! Rey applauds and sighs in relief as Dominik makes his escape.
