In our fourth and final championship match on Monday Night Raw, we have Asuka mixing it up with Charlotte Flair, again, for the Raw Woman’s Championship. This match has been hyped up on social media, but many of us aren’t buying into it. While Asuka and Flair as awesome talents, they’ve become stale just like Flair and Becky Lynch facing each other so often. It hasn’t helped that Flair’s beaten her regularly and has taken away any expectation for many. Add to it that Flair’s on WWE programming constantly, and fans in general are tired of her.
In short, we’re suffering burnout, and that suck because she is such an awesome talent. One way to solve this would be to have Asuka win and retain her title, but it doesn’t feel like the right time for that. Plus, it’s not going to be as endearing now or when it happens because it’s so obvious.

We wouldn’t be surprised if Nia Jax enters the fray and causes a disqualification or causes some other result that’d keep the championship on Asuka. To be fair, her feud with Nia Jax is far from over as she has to score a clean pinfall or submission on her to end it. At least, in our eyes,
Extreme Rules
It would make sense for Jax and Asuka’s feud to end at a pay-per-view, so we’re expecting a triple threat match or something along those lines so they can hype it up as Asuka doesn’t have to lose to become former champion. This way, she can defeat Flair and retain, and her feud with Jax can continue is the powers-that-be so desire it.
This, of course, leads us to the same problem we had before as many are tired of Nia Jax as well. The WWE has a decades old habit of holding onto an idea until they choke the life out of it; the fact it may already have been dead has never seemed to matter.
It’s this stubbornness that has turned many fans off, and why many are so anti-Flair because she keeps winning championship after championship. Not that it’s wrong, but they have so many talented women on their roster, they could start pushing them and give us a break from the same faces constantly. We want variety, and until the booking improves, things will continue as they have for Monday Night Raw and the WWE in general.
