WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship – Sasha Nanks and Bayley (c) vs Iiconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce)
The Iiconics were off to a fast start before Bayley tripped Peyton Royce to turn the momentum.
The commercial break came with the Iiconics with the upper hand, and when we came back Bayley was still being kept from Banks, but she managed to fight her way out of trouble for a short time. She decided not to tag Banks in, and needed Banks to save her. Banks eventually got in, and managed to slap the Bank Statement on Peyton Royce while Bayley and Billie Kay were outside the ring recovering.
After the match, Banks admitted she liked seeing Bayley happy but was jealous she had two belts. So, she decided that for Extreme Rules, she’d challenge… Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship.

Asuka came out and accepted. Bayley too the opportunity to knock her down, and Banks slapped a Bank Statement on her to send a message.
Backstage, Lashley was approached about what he did to R-Truth, and he said if it hadn’t for Truth, he’d be the WWE Champion. MVP then went on how he could help Apollo Crews and how he was proud of him for using the ropes last week against Shelton Benjamin. That proud papa feeling faded when Crews agreed to a rematch.
Ruby Riot approached Liv Morgan backstage, but Morgan was too upset to talk and didn’t want Riot to make her feel worse. Judging from Riot’s expression, that’s not what she intended.

After insulting everyone watching, MVP invited Apollo Crews to come out for an interview. MVP made a point of making sure he referred to him as his “potential client.”
MVP started saying how Crews had impressed him with his strings of victories, but when he hurt his knee, that got MVP to thinking how he could help him.
During MVP’s sales pitch, Crews interrupted him, claiming he got to where he is because of himself and refuses to accept.
MVP continued to press, and promised that Crews wouldn’t keep the championship for long without him. Crews then called him out, saying he’s dealt with people like MVP his whole life. MVP pointed out he wasn’t going to ask a third time, but the United States Championship would be coming home to him.
Shelton Benjamin came out, and MVP asked for Crews’ attention for a second. Benjamin then attack Crews and knocked him out of the ring, then ran him into the ring post. Afterwards, MVP said, “Lesson number one, never put yourself in a 2 on 1 situation because it leaves your blindside vulnerable. That one was free, the next is gonna cost you.”
