Not that long-ago, Randy Orton commented on the NXT roster slapping their legs too much when they do moves. Even though this is now the new style of wrestling that gives the moves more realism when watching. Randy Oroton commented on this saying it was a joke later on. When initially happening, he annoyed a pretty high up member of the NXT roster. As none other than Tommaso Ciampa replied that he uses Randy’s matches to get his daughter to sleep.
Even though this ended up with Vince McMann angry with both members of the rooster. This due to the rule that they are unable to build heat between each other as no match is booked between them. The heat then disappeared with Randy Orton saying that “The Leg Slap Comment was just me having fun and it got taken a little too seriously” in an interview.
Survivor Series maybe?
Apparently this was all a way to get a match with an NXT star as he has pitched multiple matches to go against a member of the NXT roster. The two that have been rumoured is Tommaso Ciampa or Adam Cole. It does feel like Adam Cole could be moving to either Smackdown or Raw soon due to him accomplished every possibility in NXT. Making him the most likely candidate to go against Randy in the future. This is more likely with Ciampa saying that he will never want to change roaster. Although the match could easily take place in Survivor Series where the brand warfare is a big attraction.
Who would you wanna see Randy Orton fight in NXT?
There are a lot of members in the NXT roster who would give Randy Orton a great match. A big one that hasn’t been mentioned to go up against would the recent Karrion Kross. Only if it was booked for him to win. With him being the new member of the roaster, it would give him an even greater push. Even though this could be used to push a newer talent that is looking for a push with Karrion Kross already on the road to be a massive Star. It could be one of the members of the Undisputed Era as they have fallen into the background of Adam Cole’s popularity.
