It has now been confirmed that none other than La Champion himself will be commenting on the first night of the Fyter Fest. Chris Jericho has been fantastic on the commentary lately. With him promoting talent in great ways given the bad guy heat and the good guy’s cheers. He has even gone on to say that he might even want to be a commentator when he retires. Let’s all hope that’s a long time off as he’s one the best AEW wrestlers at the moment.
Day one of Fyter Fest just gets better.
Even though Fyter Fest is looking up to be a great wrestling event. The fact that Jericho is going to be on commentary for the event will add a lot to the matches. Especially for the match between Cody Rhodes and Jake Hager. Even though it was shaping up to be a great match. The fact that Jericho is now a commentator for and I kind of hope he gets involved but it seems very unlikely.
Could we actually see Chris Jericho as a future full-time commentator?
It would be very weird to see Chris Jericho as a full-time commentator but weirder things have happened in wrestling. With him already showing a lot of talent in the role, it would be a great fit. Even though it would be at least maybe 5-10 years away. It would be great to see Jericho stay in the business in one way or another.
