The fourth match of the New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) Cup finals event sees Los Ingobernables de Japon (LIJ) members Bushi and Sanada take on the Bullet Club team of Yujiro Takahashi and Taiji Ishimori. Despite not much seeming to be on the line in this match, Sanada has the opportunity to immediately regain momentum after New Japan Cup semi-finals loss to his Cold Darkness tag team partner Evil. Bushi, Ishimori, and Takahashi would all be able to raise their stock with a victory as well, adding some intrigue to the contest.

The fifth match of the opportunity allows for Minoru Suzuki to lead his unit and gain revenge on Yuji Nagata after his first-round New Japan Cup defeat against his former rival.
His Dangerous Tekkers (Taichi/Zack Sabre Jr [ZSJ]) understudies have an opportunity to weaken the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champion team of Golden Ace (Hiroshi Tanahashi/Kota Ibushi) before making the v1 challenge for the title on July 12 at Dominion. Taichi managed to defeat Tanahashi in the first round of the New Japan Cup and Ibushi in the second.
Any momentum Dangerous Tekkers can take into Dominion will bode well for their chances to become champions.

Right: Tetsuya Naito, Hiromu Takahshi, And Shingo Takagi via New Japan Pro Wrestling
In a match laden with Dominion ramifications Toru Yano, Sho, and Tomohiro Ishii of CHAOS will take on the Los Ingobernables de Japon (LIJ) team of IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi, NEVER Openweight Champion Shingo Takagi, and IWGP Heavyweight and IWGP Intercontinental ‘Double Champion’ Tetsuya Naito.
Sho makes the v2 challenge for Shingo’s NEVER Openweight Championship at Dominion and it’s Naito’s final match before he defends both of his championships on the same event. Sho could set himself up for a future IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship match if he were to defeat Hiromu. Yano and Ishii could challenge Naito for a championship if either were to gain a fall over the champion.
