Another episode of Monday Night raw takes place this evening, as we edge ever closer to the Survivor Series pay per view. One of the most interesting segments tonight will see Alexa Bliss welcome Drew McIntyre onto a Moment Of Bliss.
Fans are already predicting that there could be some shenanigans during the segment, as the two have already exchanged words on Twitter, after McIntyre claimed that he expected a quiet night on Raw. However, it’s unlikely to be a quiet night for either superstars, but could we see McIntyre come face to face with The Fiend for the first time?
WWE News: Bliss To Set Up McIntyre
It’s hard to see this segment going through without an appearance from The Fiend, as he has been featured heavily on television over the past couple of weeks since his draft from SmackDown to Raw. He hasn’t yet had a match on the red brand, and it’s unclear at this time whether he could be set for a WWE Championship match against Randy Orton.
McIntyre is also within that title picture as he lost the championship to Orton at the Hell in a Cell event a couple of weeks ago. It will be interesting to see whether The Fiend and McIntyre come to blows, as it had been teased that two could be working together to get to Orton. There could be another sign of that this week, as Bliss and McIntyre could be laying a trap for Orton.
WWE News: Will Orton Show Up?
Orton’s being thrown in every direction over the past couple of weeks, and there is also the fact that he has a huge upcoming match against Roman Reigns that must also be taken into consideration. It isn’t against all odds that Orton could be forced to defend his championship before that huge showdown with the SmackDown champion, but it’s unlikely that he will be dethroned.
There could be another spanner thrown into the works judging by a cryptic tweet that was sent by Beth Phoenix over the weekend. The tweet included a gif of a phoenix rising from the ashes, which could point to the fact that her husband, Edge, could be nearing his return. At least the title picture is engaging on Raw, as there are a number of directions that the championship picture could head in.
