Impact Wrestling Preview loves nothing more than seeing some great matches, and tonight’s loaded with them as the Go Home episode for Turning Point is nearly upon us.
Chris Sabin vs. Acey Romero
This is one of the most interesting matches on the card simply because of the different styles both wrestlers bring to the table.
Chris Sabin is smaller and relies on his quickness and toughness to win, while Acey Romero is a superheavyweight that relies on his size and strength to best his opponent.

To add to the fun and intrigue, both men are better known for their recent tag team work in Impact Wrestling than their singles, and we think whoever can adjust faster will be the winner.
While the smart advice would be for Romero to try to win early, it’s going to be harder said than done as Sabin is as tough as they come, and we expect him to try to wear Romero out.
Still, if Romero gets a hold of him it could be lights out.
For us, Sabin is the clear favorite simply for his experience (8 time X-Division champion), but we think it’ll come down to who’s at ringside.
Alex Shelley will be out another month or so while Larry D is healthy and will probably be in Romero’s corner. Will that be enough for Romero to pull the upset? Let us know in the comments below.
X-Division Championship – Rohit Raju (c) vs. TJP
Rohit has been as slippery and conniving as any of the great heels throughout history as he managed to outthink and out maneuver his opponents since he won the X-Division Championship.
He’s marked himself as “the given of opportunities” since no one had given him any and started the Defeat Rohit Challenge every week.
Unlike other open challenges, his intent was never to give others a real opportunity for the X-Division Championship and that nearly blew up in his face at Bound For Glory.
But he survived and talked his way, with plenty of help rom Scott D’Amore, into a championship match with TJP.
TJP is a phenomenal talent that deserves a championship, but this could be his last chance at X-Division gold as the stipulation of this match is if he loses he can’t challenge Rohit anymore.
To be fair, TJP did say he just needed that one chance and D’Amore told Rohit there would be none of his tricks in this match.
Wil Rohit find a way to leave as champion, or will TJP hold his first X-Division Championship since 2013 (as Manik)? Let us know who you think will win in the comments below.
