Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Results!
We’re looking forward to the show as they’ve been on a good run the last two weeks and Drew McIntyre is coming back.
Without further ado, let’s get to the actin.
Drew McIntyre came out to the ring to get things going. It’s been quiet without him there for two weeks, but they also had two of their best shows in a long time.
Now that he’s back, it’s time to really rock it.
McIntyre started it off by saying how good it felt to be in a WWE ring again and then thanked fans for all the get well wishes on social media.
It meant the world to him, and he’s grateful for all of the support.
He then dedicated his match against Goldberg to everyone dealing with the COVID virus.
McIntyre then switched into promo mode and said that he’d be a fool to take Goldberg lightly, and then ran off a list of Goldberg’s accomplishments.
He further built up Goldberg’s streak of defeated champions when he returns and that his streak will end this weekend.
The clown brigade
The Miz’s music started and cut him off.
Miz said McIntyre and Goldberg’s match will be one for the ages, but when something that brutal happens there’s consequences.
John Morrison asked what those consequences could be.
The Miz pointed out one of them could be injured, and then he and Morrison added that whoever is left standing will be a sitting duck and they’ll beat the stuffing out of them to win.
Miz said when he cashes in, McIntyre will hear the Miz announced as the new WWE Champion.
McIntyre challenged them to get in the ring when Goldberg’s music started.
Goldberg stepped out through his pyros and made his way to the ring.
Goldberg then got in McIntyre’s face and told him he’s next, and Miz and Morrison egged them on to start their fight early, and McIntyre and Goldberg pulled them into the ring.
Goldberg then hit a spear on Miz and McIntyre hit a Claymore on Morrison before they turned back to stare into each other’s eyes while McIntyre held the belt in the air.
Goldberg continued jawing at McIntyre before heading to the back.
The WWE is really trying to hype this match up and this was a good job, but WWE Raw Results still aren’t sold on this one. There’s too little energy and they’re trying too hard. We’ll see how the night goes.
