This is going to be an interesting match for Impact Wrestling No Surrender Preview thanks in large part to Rohit Raju recruiting Mahabali Shera to be at his side.
In Rohit and TJP’s match on Tuesday’s IMPACT, Shera appeared from under the ring with TJP in tow after TJP disappeared under it as has become his custom.
A chokeslam on the apron by Shera was followed by a running knee by Rohit for the win.
We can’t ignore the impact Shera can and will probably have on this match, and it’s going to raise the stakes in what was already going to be an awesome showing of athleticism and storytelling.
Rohit is great at telling a story with his expressions and TJP’s in ring ability is second to none.
But now that Rohit’s managed to even the odds with Shera there to watch for any under the ring trick my TJP changing into Manik, what will TJP have up his sleeve?
Thinking outside the box
While it can be argued it’d make a better story if he comes out to face Rohit alone, we expect he’ll have an insurance policy to at least keep Shera busy.
It wasn’t too long ago when TJP was teamed with Fallah Bahh and the pair made some noise in the tag team division, so we could see Bahh return at his friend’s side, assuming he doesn’t get into major trouble with Hernandez.
Suicide could be another possibility, but since he’ll be involved in the triple threat revolver match earlier in the night it could be interesting to see how much he’ll be able to do.
There’s also the potential that someone else could debut in Impact Wrestling, and since that’s been the trend over the last few months this would be a good time.
But if TJP has help or not, he’s going to have to contend with Rohit, who has been desperate to get his championship back.
Rohit’s a top talent and he’ll give TJP everything he can handle, making this one of those matches where if we blink we’ll miss something.
Whether he has help or not, we’re looking forward to seeing what TJP has up his sleeve as he and Rohit have been giving us a fun chess match and it’s only going to get better.
This match definitely has potential to be the match of the night, and Impact Wrestling No Surrender Preview can’t wait to see what they have planned for us.
We think it’s best to have the popcorn and other snacks at hand for this one. The last thing any of us will want is to get up and miss something.
