Tonight should be a fun night as Seth Rollins is returning and the card for Elimination Chamber should continue to be filled out.
Let’s get to the action.
Roman Reigns once again started the show off by coming out to the ring with Jey Uso and Paul Heyman flanking him.
Looks like we’re going to hear about his hurt feeling after Kevin Owens hit him with a stunner and he doesn’t look happy.
As luck would have it, Adam Pearce was waiting for him in the ring with a padfolio that may hold a contract?
Reigns asked Pearce why he was standing across the ring and told him he doesn’t wait in Pearce, he waits on him.
Reigns added that Pearce has no authority over him and that Reigns calls the shot. Pearce is there to serve him and then he turned hit attention to Edge.
He said Edge didn’t want any of him and got nervous. He looked Reigns in the eye and got scared because he knows what Reigns will do to him.
He added that when he’s done with Edge he’ll have to be signed to an Legends contract.
Reigns made a point of saying he’s never going to drop the Universal title unless he wants to, then asked if Pearce was there for Elimination Chamber.
Pearce said it’s like what Heyman wanted and Reigns will defend his championship inside the Elimination Chamber just like Drew McIntyre.
Reigns faces a rebellion
Reigns handed the mic to Paul Heyman, and he introduced himself with his usual used car salesman spiel.
He then said Reigns’ agreement states he doesn’t have to defend the title inside the chamber, only that he ahs to defend it at the Elimination Chamber.
Heyman told him to put whoever he wants in the match to face Reigns.
He added that the Elimination Chamber winner will get his title shot right then and there, and Heyman dared him to fire Reigns this close to WrestleMania and pointed out last year’s without Reigns was the lowest attendance of all time.
Heyman told Pearce his opinion is irrelevant and the only opinion that matters is Reigns.
Pearce said it sees he has some work to do and they’ll be some qualifying matches tonight and said he can think of two that belong in the Chamber that don’t need to qualify.
He told Reigns he’s familiar with both of the men and the first is Jey Uso.
Pearce got out of the ring and announced that he can think of a second superstar that doesn’t need to qualify and it’s Kevin Owens.
Reigns headed out of the ring to confront Pearce and he told him that he doesn’t care about that match and the only thing Reigns cares about is Adam Pearce.
Heyman managed to cool Reigns off and WWE Smackdown Results were kinda surprised Heyman succeeded.
Backstage, Adam Pearce was approached by Sonya Deville and she was impressed that he stood up to Reigns.
He said they need to fill out the Elimination Chamber, and she had an idea for a tag team type of qualification where the winners are placed into the Elimination Chamber.
