‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set with some spoilery goodies.
Genoa City is going to keep chugging along and things will continue in their lukewarm war state as there are a few decisions in this episode that’ll help progress some storylines.
As we circle back to themes that were mentioned months ago, such as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wanting to reestablish a media outlet to fulfill his petty vindictiveness.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, February 24: Victor’s idea of damage control
Victor is many things, and forgiving isn’t one of them if he feels wronged, and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has wronged him one too many times.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers were sure Victor was behind the shooting angle a few months back, but now he’s been making moves to acquire a media branch simply to slander Billy.
But he pushed Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) a little too hard and she may snap back even harder.
It may even be hard enough to make Victor rethink things for a microsecond before he tries to further explain his reasoning.
He won’t try too hard, then continue blaming Billy for his family falling apart because he holds onto them too tight.
This should be fun to watch just to see Victor further bury himself while claiming to be the hero.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, February 24: Sharon opens up
Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will demand Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) be honest with him about everything, and it could put their new marriage in jeopardy.
Not like this is new territory for Sharon, right? She should be able to handle this like a pro.
So, that means she’ll omit certain things under other circumstances. While she may not be the smartest person in Genoa City, she’ll know denying the kiss won’t work so she’ll tell Rey everything.
How he reacts will be interesting as his insecurities combined with Sharon’s constantly wandering eye have helped put them both on the brink of breaking things off.
Will they regret getting married of will Sharon be scared away from Adam permanently?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, February 24: Chelsea breaks
Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) has been through a ton of stuff the last few months, and it looks like she’ll face a new challenge.
While there are plenty options for storytelling, we think she’ll suffer a psychotic break and all of her internalized anger will take over and fester until she’s able to move and wreak havoc.
We’re do for a crazy wife running around since the show likes to have one or two per decade. Anything else would break their cycle of finding new un-inventive ways to say the same things.
