Shaquille O’Neal is scheduled to take on Dynamite as they face off in AEW in what promises to be an intriguing encounter, given that it is Shaquille’s debut.

The former basketball star will team up with Jade Cargill, while Dynamite will be alongside Cody Rhodes in this tag-team match. During an interview with the Chicago Sun Times, Shaquille backed himself to come out victorious as he believes he possesses the necessary skill sets.
He said: “Oh, I’m winning. Guaranteed. I’m the type. I can never back down from a challenge. I’m not a professional wrestler, but I’ve been in a match before. I’ve got a lot of moves in my arsenal.”
Shaquille, although confident, does not have a wrestling background which already puts him on the back foot. Nevertheless, he is hoping that his size and reach can overpower his opponents, and that is exactly what he intends to do. He added: “When you step inside somebody’s world, you have to stick to what you’re masterful at.
“I’m not acrobatic. I’m not going to be jumping off the ropes. I’m coming with the power game. When I get hands-on with him, I’m going to display this power. I’m the type that if I have a look and see you do it, I got it.” The upcoming bout has got many talking, and we can expect lots of fans to be tuning in.
Jim Ross, who heads the commentary on AEW, has praised Shaquille for guiding Jade to this point, given that they both stem from a basketball background. In an interview with News4Jax, he said: “Shaq’s a part our family there on TNT, of course doing NBA basketball. You find out that Shaq’s a wrestling fan, then you find out that Shaq is kind of mentoring Jade Cargill.”
And it looks like Jade’s future lies in wrestling. He continued: “She had an interest in using her athleticism and her skills to do something else. What are you going to do? Well, you’re not going to go to the WNBA. She’s past basketball. But she’s a wrestling fan, which is great.”
