At Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2020, Randy Orton defeated The Fiend in an Inferno Match, and afterwards he set The Fiend ablaze, taking things too far. Since then, Alexa Bliss has been the issue for Orton, having thrown fireballs at him, and daring him to light her ablaze like he did The Fiend. This has escalated to a match tonight at Fastlane, where the 14 time world champion will have to face Alexa Bliss in singles action.
Randy Orton Faces Off With A Bewitched Alexa Bliss
While doing his signature pose, Orton started to throw up black goop, and he asked for a towel to clean himself up. He’d ask for Bliss to make her way to the ring, sick of the games. Her music would hit, just heavily distorted. The lights would go dim and purple, and when Orton tried to cross the ring, he’d be met by a wall of fire.
Orton dashed in again and Bliss dodged and had him hit the ring post. She’d skip around at ringside, and force Orton to follow her. Orton stopped just before a lighting rig fell, nearly crushing Orton before prancing around some more and getting to the ring. He’d be wary, but able to dodge a fireball thrown by Bliss.
The Fiend Is Back
At this time, a burnt hand came through the ring and grabbed the ankle of Orton. A more deranged Fiend than we ever saw before came out, Bliss shoved him into Sister Abigail, and pinned the 14 time world champion.
This is a new look and mood for The Fiend after being set on fire, which makes sense. It left more questions than answers, but the record books will say that Alexa Bliss defeated Randy Orton. What will The Fiend be doing with Randy Orton at Wrestlemania? Is this going to be the era that defines the character of The Fiend? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
