John Cena has praised Jaxson Dempsey for a heroic act of courage as the latter had saved his own sister’s life.
John Cena Praises Boy Who Saved His Sister From Dying
In a shocking turn of events, Jaxson’s sister may have left this world in the most unfortunate of circumstances had Jaxson not intervened. They were enjoying some quality time together and during the course of some food, (chicken nuggets) his sister started choking. Jaxson is not a medical man, but he stepped up to the plate, regardless.
Jaxson performed the Heimlich manoeuvre to prevent his sister from choking. So, where did Jaxson get the idea from? Well, none other than from watching the highly-popular wrestler after his appearance on Nickelodeon’s The Substitute. John was so proud of the boy that he responded by praising him.
In response to the courage, John told WNEP-TV how the story had moved him: “Hey Jaxson… Now I heard a story about you, and it really touched my heart. A story that in a time of crisis, you were brave enough to take action.” Not only does Jaxson need to be applauded, but so does John for his role in giving back to the younger generation.
After all, wrestlers get a lot of flack for not doing enough outside the sport. But had it not been for John’s appearance on the show, Jaxson may not have watched it, and therefore we would have been watching an entirely different outcome. That is why John referred to Jaxson as a hero.
He added: You saved your little sister’s life. I wanted to commend you because the actions of a true hero are those who do act in a time of crisis…You jumped right in, helped out the best you could. Doing so, you saved your sister’s life.”
John, naturally, played down the role that he had inadvertently played in saving Jaxson’s sister. This would be expected given that John has plenty of limelight in the public eye already. With that in mind, he made sure that Jaxson got all the praise. He signed off his message with the following: “I really want to say thank you for being you, Jaxson.
