WWE Smackdown Results weren’t surprised when Roman Reigns’ music played and he came out with Paul Heyman at his side.
In the ring flanked by Heyman and Jey, Reigns took his turn with the mic and said he’s annoyed he even has to be there.
He’s not a politician and isn’t running for president, so he doesn’t have to sell himself to anyone.
He’s got more things to worry about like losing a match even if he’s not pinned, but he thought he’d state the obvious.
Reigns added that he’s going to show up and win at WrestleMania and it may seem like an arrogant statement, but it’s his humble beginnings.
He said show day is the easy day as the rest of the week is prepping. When he shows up the WWE is winning.
He could be like Edge or Daniel Bryan and have one good week but since SummerSlam he’s been doing it for 30 weeks in a row.
The numbers don’t lie and said he’s changed the ratings for the show and made the Universal Championship relevant.
He then referred to Bryan and Edge as the dreamers and how Bryan’s claiming he made him tap out. He pointed out if he tapped out he’d be champion and said Bryan can’t make him tap out.
Acknowledge him
He turned his attention to Edge and called it garbage that he’s claiming his chance was taken from him.
Reigns once again called them dreamers and said this is where the comeback story ends and his begins.
He called them the launching pad and we should wait to see what happens next.
He’s the man with the golden hand and everything he touches has a purpose.
He saves careers and said he’s going to crush Edge and Bryan’s dreams and called it a spoiler.
Reigns promised to wreck everyone and leave. He’s going to pin them and hold the championship up and they’ll see a better man than them standing above them.
The pyros will go off and the whole world will acknowledge him.
This was a good show and set the stage for WrestleMania perfectly. They really went all out.
