‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set with some spoilery goodness to share as we slow things down for some character building.
It’s not surprising the show is pumping the breaks as more than two days of intense drama makes the storylines more too quickly and that makes milking out the perfect moments tougher for them.
‘The Young and Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday April 14: Phyllis pulls into the lead
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has had her hands in several pots over the last year, but the most important one currently involves her daughter’s, Summer Newman (Hunter King), problems.
Of course, Phyllis jumped to her defense and injured her relationship with Summer, but for her it was worth it.
Now with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) seemingly on the ropes and headed out of town, Phyllis will be looking to celebrate squashing yet another evil that threatened her or her family.
She’ll also have the chance to repair her relationship with Summer, and that’ll be the real win for her.
But as we all know, Phyllis’ wins tend to come at a price, and this could be the calm before the storm.
‘The Young and Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday April 14: Jack sets the record straight
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect Phyllis’ good fortune to be due to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) laying down the law with Sally.
Sally’s caused a bit of a ruckus since arriving in Genoa City, though to be fair it’s all due to Summer’s insecurity and looking for something to destroy Sally first.
But the fact that Sally’s information could destroy Jabot and put his son and family at risk financially will stick with him, and he’ll let Sally know he won’t allow any more of that kind of actions.
This will leave Sally unsure where to go or think since it’s the opposite she’s used to enduring in Loa Angeles.
But we think there’ll be a hidden bonus in this, and it’ll be Jack will understand why Sally did what she did and their relationship will be ready to move forward.
As long as she doesn’t pull anything else, to which Sally will swear up and down that she’ll behave.
This should be an interesting storyline and relationship going forward as Jack will have to deal with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) trying to destroy his company, and that could put a damper on things.
