‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to end the week on an amped up note and we have the spoilery goodies to prove it.
Things are looking like they could get interesting in Genoa City again, and we’re hoping this isn’t just a tease before they circle back for the millionth time to another recently used idea.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, April 9: Nick’s surprise
It was only a matter of time until Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan)’s plan started to fall apart, and the face she’s intent on falling into Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)’s trap so easily is the first step.
Of course, given how much she hates Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) it’s not surprising she’s ready to do exactly what Adam expects.
Or it’s lazy writing to find a way to prove Adam’s innocent.
But things will hit a snag when Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) stops by to see how Chelsea’s doing and finds her missing or runs into her during mid-transit.
Both of these instances will put Nick in an awkward position given she’s going after Adam.
He may even help her if their paths cross. More likely, he’ll find her gone and she’ll walk in just as he’s about to leave because it has to happen.
He’ll want to know what’s going on and she’ll explain everything but the poisoning Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).
What’ll happen if he does find out she poisoned Rey will be interesting. Either way her plans nearing it’s end and Adam will skate again for Newman reasons.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, April 9: Lauren Takes Control
Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) will be looking to set things right in her ship by sitting Summer Newman (Hunter King) down and laying into her.
Summer will update Lauren on what’s going on and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)’s thoughts on what’s going on.
She’ll blame Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) for everything and Lauren will shut her down. She’ll then take Summer’s words to heart and prepare to ready her company for a possible assault.
She’ll bring in Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to ensure Jabot’s ready for any possible attack. Things should get interesting pretty quickly.
