Bioshock 4 has been confirmed that it has been in the works since 2019. At the moment, we have no information on when we will see Bioshock 4 release. There has also been no trailer or teaser for the upcoming game.
The game has been confirmed, and the studio has been created within 2K called Cloud Chamber that will be developing this game. A job listening for the studio seemed to confirm some elements of what is going to change in the upcoming game.
Bioshock 4 is diving into Open World
Job Listings Show All. The job listing was looking for a Senior Writer with one of the elements there asking for is “someone who can weave impactful, character-driven stories in an open world setting”. This, therefore, confirms that a studio that has been creating Bioshock 4 is making an open world.
Currently, we only know about one game they’re making, meaning that all signs are currently pointing to that the open-world game they’re working on is Bioshock 4. This then pretty much confirms that we could be getting an open world Bioshock in the future.
When might we see a trailer or more info on Bioshock 4?
If the fact that Bioshock 4 has been in development since 2019. The game has been in development as of now for two years. This does most likely mean to make a new type of Bioshock now for a new generation of console.
It will take at least another two years in development for the game to finish. That doesn’t mean we could still see more information this year. E3 is around the corner, and we may see at least a new teaser of what year we may see Bioshock 4 release.
