‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to close the week out with some fun spoilery goodies.
We’re going to see a couple of characters that have been trying to have a say finally take charge, and it’s going to be entertaining to see how things shake out next week.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, April 23: Summer steps into the fire
There’s plenty of turmoil to go around in Genoa City, and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will be dealing with the mess her beau created by going to the co-source.
Summer hasn’t enjoyed being pushed aside throughout all of this, and she’s going to approach Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) to set the record straight between them.
Summer will explain that she knows everything and that her and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) are together and Tara has no power.
She’ll continue saying that it’s up to Tara to reign Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) in and that it’s her fault.
We expect a fight or a heated back and forth before either Summer leaves with a superior Newman-esc air, or the two will work out a plan on how to handle Ashland.
Who knows, maybe Tara will become a spy for the Abbotts?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, April 23: Nikki’s the new boss
The Newmans are in as much or more turmoil than the Abbotts and it’s mainly Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s fault.
Victor won’t see that as the truth, but Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) does and ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think she’s going to walk in on Victor’s latest bargaining session.
She won’t like how Victor’s withholding medical help from Ashland to close the deal and she’ll call the paramedics herself.
We doubt that she’ll get there before Ashland signs the contracts, but we have no qualms that she’ll take Victor to task and possible tear up the contracts in front of him.
Victor’s done more than his fair share of shady deals and has relied on the loyalty or others to keep him out of prison, but could this be the one thing even Nikki can’t overlook?
This will be a fun scene and we’re curious how it’ll play out.
We’ve been saying how we’re surprised Nikki has stayed with him as he’s continually pitted his children against each other and this could be the moment we’ve been waiting for.
Or it could be something totally different and Ashland will either die without signing or Victor will win again.
