‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to get the new week off on the right foot with some fun spoilery goodies.
We’ll be taking a breath in this episode as the breaks are being pumped slightly as we head into some interesting storylines in the next couple of weeks.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, April 19: Mariah’s not happy
Of course, the first thing many will suspect, and it could very well be, is Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will be dealing with morning sickness or some other normal adjustment for pregnancy.
It makes sense and is expected, but could it be something more?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think we’re entering the rough part of her agreement with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) as she may be experiencing buyer’s remorse.
It’s only natural for Mariah to wonder if she really wants to carry another woman’s baby and what happens if something goes wrong and she can’t have any more children, and so on.
It’ll be a point of contention as it’s been repeatedly mentioned by others that they have a contract and Mariah’s out of luck in the whole deal.
But then there’s the possibility that she’s going to chafe under the extra attentive care she’ll be under as well as probably restrictions to keep her safe.
She’s an independent woman and being cooped up and fawned over will drive her crazy. Especially since is fits in so perfectly with so many horror movies where a family does this to a luckless young woman.
We’re in for plenty of strife and drama ahead, and if we were tired of hearing about Abby’s eggs, we don’t think the fun’s even started yet.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, April 19: Victor taunts Billy
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) once told Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) not to brag and act respectfully when he won, but he forgot his own lesson on a couple of fronts.
While he didn’t win, Victor will continue to show his inner 2 year old self as he’ll set up a meeting with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) to change his mind about the sale.
Before he meets with Ashland, he’ll cross paths with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and tell him nothing is over and Billy’s in for it now, and yadda, yadda, yadda.
Typical Victor posturing along with shaming him for letting Victoria fight his battles.
Billy will be more concerned than upset since it puts Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) in the middle, but there’s not much more he can do.
We do hope he blasts Victor, but Victor will brush it off in his typical arrogant way and act like he’s this great champion of Victorism.
