Muir has yet to get a signature win in NXT UK, but this might be his ticket, if he can take advantage of Samuels possibly being off his game tonight.

However, as Samuels hit the ring with his usual energy? There was no sign that Samuels is off his game. Twenty years in the professional wrestling business ensures that while he doesn’t like them, he can handle losses. Muir would lock up with Samuels, and be able to shove him into the corner before the veteran got him in a headlock.
Samuels would be thrown off from this headlock, showing his powerlifting background before being slammed in the head with a strike. Muir would take down Samuels with a running crossbody, but missed an elbow drop. Samuels wasted no time getting back on top, kicking Muir while he was down before hitting an elbow drop.
Muir would be kicked in the back again, before being picked up just to be run with with a deadly lariat. Samuels would attack the shoulder of Muir with some downward elbow strikes, before applying the Butchers Hook. Muir escaped and took him down with a side russian leg sweep and hit a knee drop.
