Former WWE and WCW Superstar Marcus “Buff” Bagwell was arrested near his home in Woodstock, Georgia in Cobb County, Georgia on multiple counts.
The charged reportedly included speeding, failure to yield when entering an intersection, hit and run, giving a false name, address or birthdate to law enforcement officers according to popculture.com for a total of 17 charges on Saturday, May 22, 2021.
According to reports, he was released on a $4,000 bail bond for five of the charges and a $10,000 for the other 12.

Not a stranger
Bagwell hasn’t been shy when it comes to having problems as he was in the hospital after a car accident nine months ago.
In that accident, he suffered a broken left socket bone, some broken ribs, a broken right hip, a broken nose, and a torn groin muscle.
He recuperated and left the hospital without needing surgery.
Prior to this on August 9. 2016, he filed a lawsuit in Connecticut against the WWE for royalties from items he was featured in on the WWE Network.
It was reported that the lawsuit was dismissed in December 2017.
Memorable career
Buff Bagwell was a mainstay in WCW where he won the tag team championship five times during his ten year career there (1991 to 2001) with four different partners.
When the WWE bought WCW in 2001, he appeared in a match against Booker T, and he was released shortly afterwards.
While it was Buff Bagwell’s only match on Raw, it’s pretty cool to note that it was for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
After leaving the WWE, he then spent some time working the Indie circuit and with Impact Wrestling (TNA at the time).
His career may not be the stuff of legends, but he was fun to watch more times than not and that’s all we needed.
There’s another aspect to this story that has some ties to the WWE but it’s not so much about Bagwell as the Big Boss Man.
During the early 90s, Ray Traylor was known as the Big Boss Man, a sheriff from Cobb County, Georgia where it just happens to be where Bagwell lives and was recently arrested.
