    WWE Smackdown Results (6/4) – Roman Reigns’ Furious Assault! Attacked Dominik and Rey Mysterio during their Smackdown Tag Team Championship Match against the Usos; Intercontinental Championship – Apollo Crews (c) Defeated Kevin Owens by Pinfall

    WWE Smackdown Results returned as backstage, Azeez attacked Owens and slammed him against the wall and threw and equipment container into him before officials came to Owens’ rescue as Apollo Crews walked past.

    In the ring, Crews was jovial until Owens came out, but he still looked confident.

    Owens went right after him, but Crews nailed in him the ribs where Azeez hit him backstage, and then hit a sidebreaker before he stomped him down.

    Crews kept working on Owens’ ribs with kicks and knees. Owens kept fighting back, but he couldn’t sustain any lengthy offense.

    He did hit a clothesline and senton, but his ribs took away a good portion of his offense and he couldn’t get Crews up for a pip up powerbomb.

    Crews dropped him on the apron, then hit an Olympic Slam on the floor as we headed to commercial.

    Back from commercial, Crews was still in control and continued working on Owens’ ribs with some kicks and a belly to belly suplex and then another, followed by a German suplex for a pin attempt.

    Owens slipped free and hit a release German suplex of his own to buy some time, but Crews drove him into a corner and put him on the top rope.

    Owens fought him off and went for a senton but Crews got his knees up.

    Crews hit a German suplex for a pin attempt, and then a standing moonsault for another attempt.

    Owens rolled out of the way of a splash and hit a superkick and pop up powerbomb for a near pinfall.

    Crews hit a Death Valley Drive on the ring apron and rolled Owens into the ring for the pin.

    This was the best match of the night, but there’s one more to come.

    After the match, Sami Zayn ran into the ring and hit a Helluva Kick and shouted at him that karma kicked him.

    Smackdown Tag Team Championship Rematch – Rey and Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. The Usos

    Dominik and Jimmy started it off and Jimmy hit an elbow early for a trio of pin attempts, and then sent Dominik into their corner for Jey to nail him with a right.

    Dominik fought out of the corner, but Jey hit a a neckbreaker and Dominik rolled to the floor, and Jey hit a suicide dive as we headed to commercial.

    Back from commercial, Jey was in control as he hammered away on Dominik and went for a pin attempt.

    Dominik countered a throw into a corner with a wheelbarrow flip that sent Jey into the corner instead.

    Rey came in and knocked Jey off the apron and hit Jimmy with a forearm off the ropes. Rey sent both Usos to the floor and hit a sliding splash on Jimmy.

    Rey ducked Jey’s charge and Jey this the ringpost, and he then hit a hurricanrana on Jimmy and then a 619.

    Dominik tagged in and headed to the top rope, but Reigns ran in and hit him with a Superman Punch, and then dropped Rey with a spear.

    Reigns was incensed that they were going to lose to the Mysterios twice, and threw Rey to the floor.

    He then bounced Dominik off the ring steps and threw Rey into the barricade, and then Dominik into the opposite one.

    Reigns then grabbed the steel steps and slammed them into Dominik, and did the same to Rey.

    He then threw Rey over the barricade and went back to work on Dominik and threw him into the ring and pounded on Dominik and locked in a guillotine.

    Jimmy told him it was enough and to let Dominik go. Reigns tossed Dominik aside and turned to face Jimmy as he told him “not like this” and left the ring.

    He called for Jey to come with him, but Reigns said something to Jey and Jey stayed in the ring. Reigns then went back and powerbombed Dominik.

    This was a decent show, though we would’ve like to have seen one legitimate championship match, but the gimmicks won out once again.
