WWE Raw Preview is set for what looks like a decent show tonight as there’s a Last Chance MITB qualification match, a strap match, and a six women tag match.
Sounds good so far, but there’s bound to be a couple of hiccups at some point, so let’s dive in.
Rhea Ripley and Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose vs. Charlotte Flair and Natalya and Tamina
With the Raw Woman’s Champion and the Women’s Tag Team Champions in the same ring but on opposite sides, this had potential to be an interesting match.
Since it’s designed to further the current rivalries between the champions and their challengers we expect the, to separate several times in this match with one group in the ring and the others on the floor.
Of course, as has been WWE’s habit lately, this will probably end in no contest or disqualification to help build anticipation for the MITB pay-per-view matches.
This should be the second best match of the night at least, but we’ll have to wait to see how the others shake out to see if they’ll move up to number one or not.
Kofi Kingston will confront Bobby Lashley for his attack on Xavier Woods
In what’s become another regular happening for WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, Kingston will confront him for his actions last week.
For the most part, it’s been Lashley being promoted as speaking about something so this is a nice change of pace.
Of course, it’ll probably end with a confrontation where Kingston loses his cool and snaps after reliving what Lashley did to Woods, leaving Lashley stunned as they continue building their feud.
Strap Match – Elias vs. Jaxson Ryker
Elias has made a habit of walking or running away from Ryker the last couple of weeks when Ryker’s gained the upper hand, and it makes sense since Elias said he’s scared of that look Ryker gets.
So now the problem of running away has been settled as they’ll be tied together by roughly 10 feet of a leather strap, which they can also use as a weapon on each other.
This has potential to steal the show if they’re allowed to work it, so we’ll have to wait and see.
We’d love to see Ryker win to get his face turn underway, but Elias is tricky enough to slip out the winner, and he’s our pick for tonight.
Last Chance Money in the Bank Qualifying Match – Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles
This should be the match of the night based off the talent in the ring alone as McIntyre, Orton, and Styles compete for the last spot in the MITB match.
McIntyre continues his quest to regain the WWE Championship, but we think it’ll end tonight. First, it’s time for someone new to challenge Lashley, and second he’s not allowed to challenge Lashley again.
Sure, he could win and if he wins the MITB contract he could hold onto the contract until Lashley loses, which we’re sure McIntyre will have a hand in, but there’s a twist.
We think McIntyre will target Roman Reigns if he wins, and since it’s rumored he’s going to Smackdown after the draft it’d make sense.
But Orton and Styles are both just as good with longer pedigrees, and we think this match will come down to them.
In the end, we think McIntyre will win it and take his place in the MITB Ladder Match at the PPV.
Who do you think will prevail tonight? Let WWE Raw Preview know in the comments below.
