It’s great to see a packed arena for the first time in 70 weeks. It’s been a long time coming and it’s awesome.
Vince McMahon started it off by coming out and asked the fans, “Where the he—have you been?” and headed to the back. It was the perfect welcome back.
Roman Reigns and the Usos vs. Edge and the Mysterios
Roman Reigns came out to an initial pop, but things quickly quieted down until he held the Universal Championship hit and then he was cascaded with boos.
Edge got the biggest pop of all and it brought the goosebumps.
Jey ambushed Edge while Reigns feigned entering the ring, but Edge quickly turned it around with a face plant. Dominik tagged in for a kick and Rey tagged in.

Jimmy tagged in and Rey took him down with an arm drag.
Edge continued working on Jimmy’s left arm, Then he held Jimmy up for Rey to his a sitton off the top rope for a pin attempt.
Reigns Taps!
Dominik and Jimmy exchanged blows while Jey blind tagged in and dropped Dominik with a step up kick.
Reigns tagged in and pulled Dominik out of the ring and then threw him back into it and hit a snap suplex for a pin attempt, and then shoved Dominik to the floor.
Reigns bounced Dominik’s head off the announce table and then powerbombed him onto the announce table as we headed to commercial.
Back from commercial, they’re in the ring with Dominik fighting off Jimmy while Reigns looked bored on the apron.
Edge knocked Jey and Reigns off the apron, and Rey tagged in to hit Jey with a sitton and tornado DDT for a pin attempt Jimmy broke up.
Dominik took out Jimmy with a axhandle on the floor and Reigns threw him into the ring post.
Rey set Jimmy up for the 619 but he was intercepted by Reigns on the floor and was slammed into the ring apron.

Edge speared Reigns on the floor as Jey rolled up Rey for the win, thanks to a handful of tights.
After the match, the Usos attacked the Mysterios and stomped them down, but Edge came in with a chair and wore it out on the Usos, then Edge ate a Superman Punch.
Reigns grabbed the chair Edge used and broke off a bar, but he had to straighten it and it gave Edge a chance to drop him with a spear.
Edge then grabbed the bar and locked in a bar assisted crossface on Reigns and Reigns tapped out so Edge released him and stood over Reigns with the championship held high.
This was a great way to start the show and WWE Smackdown Results is stoked to see what’s next.
