I’m your host, CP Bialois, and this should be a fun night as John Cena’s opening the show and Bill Goldberg is rumored to appear.
We’ll be back to get WWE Raw Live Results up and running at the 8 p.m. EST start time.
Segment 1
John Cena opened the show and said the fans are who brought him back, but he also came back to knock Roman Reigns down a few pegs and take the WWE Universal Championship from him at SummerSlam.
He’ll also be at Smackdown this week to visit Reigns.
Segment 2
6 Man Tag Match – AJ Styles, Omos, and John Morrison w/The Miz vs. The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) and Riddle
This started off face with Styles and Riddle, and then Morrison got involved with the Viking Raiders on the floor.
Omos gave Styles an assisted leap over the top rope to take out the Viking Raiders and Riddle as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
This was a good one that turned when Riddle took Miz’s drip stick and sprayed Omos with it and then gave it back to the Miz.
Omos stalked the Miz and threw Morrison into the ring when he tried to stop him. The Viking Raiders then hit a Viking Experience on Morrison for the win.
Segment 4
Symphony of Destruction – Elias vs. Jaxson Ryker
This started out as brutal as it sounds as they used a keyboard and drum set on each other before Ryker broke a guitar across Elias’ back as we headed to commercial.
Segment 5
Ryker hit a superplex through two tables on the floor for the win. An awesome match.
Segment 6
Charlotte Flair started to celebrate her championship win so Ripley came out to challenge her and Pearce and Deville announced they’ll have a rematch for the Raw Women’s Championship tonight.
Segment 7
WWE Raw Results (7/19) – Natalya and Tamina vs. Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax w/Reginald
This was a good match despite already being in progress during the commercial break.
Baszler was accidentally distracted by Reginald when he tried to help and turned into a superkick by Tamina for the pin.
They cast Reginald aside, and he then pinned Akira Tozawa to win the 24/7 Championship.
Segment 8
United States Championship – Sheamus (c) vs. Humberto Carrillo
Carrillo started it off fast and kept the pressure on by hitting Sheamus with everything, but Sheamus caught him in the ropes and powerbombed him on the apron as we headed to commercial.
Segment 9
Another great match showed Sheamus‘ toughness as he survived everything Carrillo could throw at him to hit a Brogue Kick for the win.
Segment 10
Bobby Lashley’s open challenge brought out a familiar face as Keith Lee accepted. It’s been a long time and we’re excited to see him back in the ring.
Segment 11
Bobby Lashley w/MVP vs. Keith Lee
This was a great match as Lee really pushed Lashley and even powered out of the Hurt Lock, but Lashley hit him with a spear for the win and Lee’s first real clean loss.
Goldberg then came out and told Lashley he’s next. SummerSlam, here we come. Does anyone really want to see this?
Segment 12
Drew McIntyre interrupted Jinder Mahal’s birthday celebration with a chair and beat Shanky 20 times to the point he broke one chair and had to grab another.
Segment 13
Karrion Kross vs. Jeff Hardy
Well, this was fast as Jeff rolled him up and used the ropes to pin Kross at around 3 minutes. Went from dominate NXT champion to zero. Welcome to the main brand.
Alexa and Lily played with Eva Maria in Alexa’s Playground before Eva ran off.
Segment 14
Raw Women’s Championship – Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Rhea Ripley
It started off fast, but after sending Ripley to the floor with a clothesline, Flair hit a running chp block as we headed to commercial.
Segment 15
A good match ended when Flair tried to leave the arena and then hit Ripley with her belt to be DQed.
Ripley then annihilated Flair with a Riptide on the floor and Nikki A.S.H. came out and cashed in her MOTB contract.
Nikki hit a crossbody off the top rope for the pin and the Raw Women’s Championship.
This was a cool match and ending, and eerily reminiscent of Bayley cashing in on an unconscious Flair a couple of years ago to win her first title.
Bayley 2.0?
