Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are going to find it difficult to be financially independent once their book deals are over.

That is according to Royal expert Katie Nicholl. Harry and Meghan have made no secret over what went down in the Royal family once they departed in 2020. Their interview with Oprah Winfrey on CBS allowed them to garner publicity, which has now resulted in a four-book deal worth over $20 million dollars.
This has also been complemented by several TV series that has allowed the couple to speak candidly about their life. This included Harry’s appearance on ‘The Me You Can’t See,’ as well as their podcast that has aired on Spotify. While they are all lucrative ventures, there is the obvious question of how long will it last?
In an appearance on the ‘True Royalty TV’s ‘the Royal Beat,’ Katie said: “I think the biggest threat to Harry and Meghan, once these book deals are done, and the podcasts are done and Spotify, then what is their currency?” Katie does have a point. Once Harry and Meghan have buried the Royal family saga, what else is left?
Well, Meghan is an actress by trade and has already made attempts to make a move behind the scenes. She recently signed on to be a producer for a new animated series on Netflix by the name of ‘Pearl.’ The show is premised on a young girl that is attempting to learn about the most influential female figures in history.
In an official statement by Meghan, she gave her fans an insight into what the show would bring. She said: “Like many girls her age, our heroine Pearl is on a journey of self-discovery as she tries to overcome life’s daily challenges. [It]…celebrates extraordinary women throughout history.”
Much in the same way, Harry has made attempts to forge a career. He has apparently taken a new job at a tech company based in Silicon Valley. Given the mass avenues that are available for the couple, there should be enough things out there to keep them financially well. Time will tell how it all plays out for Meghan and Harry.
