‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set for some fun spoilery goodies full of surprises and potential heart attacks for some of the denizens of Genoa City.
This episode is going to have plenty of popcorn moments as well as comfort food by the time everything’s said and done. In short, this should be a fun ride.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has been making some big moves lately, and her father admitted he was proud of her for it.

But given what the news she has to share now is, we don’t think congratulations are going to be tops of the list for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
This could be one of those moments where Victoria could remove her father from things as her engagement to Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi) could provoke a heart attack for Victor.
Not that we think it’ll go that far, but he’ll definitely grow a few shades darker as the news settles in.
While Victor will be calm early on as he tries to figure out how best to point out his thoughts, Nikki will probably be the more vocal of the two while trying to remain balanced for Victoria.
Overall, CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers think this is going to be a fun scene just for the reactions.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 9: Nick and Phyllis sent reeling
Now that Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) has been taken away in handcuffs, Summer Newman (Hunter King) will be able to return to Genoa City and resume her old life.
Her parents, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), aren’t going to waste any time in telling her.
They won’t be as fast as Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) teleporting to Summer’s doorstep moments after Tara was taken away, but they’ll drop by or call her.
And Summer’s going to floor them when she tells them she and Kyle are going to stay in Italy to begin their lives fresh and clean.
The news will really hit Phyllis hard after all the effort she put into bringing Tara down so Summer could return home, but she’ll also be happy for her daughter.
This is going to be a rough segment, but we’ve been expecting it since Michael and Hunter aren’t returning to the show so this could be their farewell.
