Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have managed to improve their relationship in what has been a turbulent period for the pair.

Meghan had almost put an end to their friendship following her and Prince Harry’s controversial interview on CBS with Oprah Winfrey. It was during this interview that Meghan claimed that Kate had made her cry, only for the media to suggest that the opposite had happened.
Not only that, Meghan stated how she contemplated the prospect of suicide during her time in the Royal family due to the intense stress she was going through. But having that time apart has allowed the duo to put their differences aside. A source said: “Meghan and Kate are actually getting along really well and have been in touch more often.
“Meghan and Kate’s relationship was never that close. And now they’re closer than ever and working on their relationship for the sake of the family.” The main reason why their relationship became strained was because of the tension between Harry and Prince William.
The latter was left outraged by Harry’s conduct and wanted all the sides involved to resolve their dispute behind closed doors. And given that Harry told the media, William was left feeling betrayed. Then with Meghan and Kate being caught up in the middle, there was nothing they could do.
Another source stated: “There is real animosity that the brothers have toward one another, and that has spilled over to Meghan and Kate’s relationship, making it very hard for them to be friends or even friendly.” And yet, the importance of family has ultimately drawn them closer together.
Following the arrival of Meghan’s daughter, (Lilibet), the two had reached out to discuss parental advice. And after having seen Prince Philip pass away, they realised the things that were important to them. An insider revealed: “They’re in a better place and have exchanged texts since the birth of Lilibet.
