Since he joined AEW, Andrade has begun making a bigger name for himself outside of the WWE, and it looks like he’s creating a true family atmosphere.
It’s no secret he’s engaged to Charlotte Flair, and the pair even trademarked their Indie names around December 2019, giving a hint at what may come in the future.
She trademarked Ashley Flair, a combination of her real and wrestling names, as well as “The Queen of Wrestling.”
Andrade trademarked “El Idolo” and “La Sombra”, the former he’s currently using in AEW.
While this gave a lot of us the idea they were planning for life outside of the WWE, Andrade further cemented that when he said he wants his entire family in AEW.
According to Dave Meltzer, that includes RUSH, Beast, Dragon Lee, Charlotte, and Ric Flair.
I am not happy with the result of the match but the most important thing and that I would not have imagined being in a ring with a great legend such as MR FLAIR and I feel happier, because I have the luxury of putting figure 4 next to MR FLAIR. THANK YOU @RicFlairNatrBoy pic.twitter.com/sAZrC2k04P

One step closer
It appears Andrade is one step closer to realizing that dream after Ric Flair requested his release from the WWE and appeared in Andrade’s corner in Mexico at AAA TripleMania XXIX.
Andrade faced Kenny Omega and we were treated to an phenomenal moment where Ric prevented Omega from using the championship belt on Andrade.
Andrade and Flair caught Omega between when with a series of chops and both even used the figure 4 leglock side by side.
All of this is only fueling speculation that Ric will appear with Andrade in AEW in the near future, and that Charlotte will follow when he contract’s up.
It’s kinda tricky
The thing with Charlotte leaving the WWE is many don’t expect it to happen since her professional career has basically been with them from FCW on up.
She’s the best female wrestler the WWE has and one of the best in the world overall. She’s achieved just about everything there is to do in the WWE so she may want to move on.
When she does, we’re sure she’ll break her father’s record for career championships and we’ll be interested to see if her record will remain intact if she leaves.
But more than that, she’d add so much to an already strong women’s division in AEW.
She’s been credited with being a locker room leader in the WWE, and between that and her experience in AEW she’ll become a true legend in her own right.
