    WWE Raw Results (8/9) – Nikki A.S.H. Defeated Rhea Ripley by Disqualification when Charlotte Flair Interfered; Randy Orton Defeated AJ Styles w/Omos and RKO’d Riddle

    WWE Raw Results returned in time for the match, and this should be a good one.

    Nikki came out with tape around her ribs, and Ripley threw her down to start it off, and Nikki rolled her up for a quick pin attempt.

    Nikki locked in a side headlock and Ripley couldn’t get her off until she targeted Nikki’s ribs and hit a shoulder in the corner along with some blows.

    Ripley continued to abuse Nikki by throwing her into the corner and then to the floor. Ripley followed her out and dropped Nikki ribs first on the apron as we headed to commercial.

    Back from commercial, they’re in the ring and Ripley continued to hammer on Nikki’s ribs.

    Nikki fought back and hit a DDT to buy some time to recover. Nikki then went after her and nearly scored a rollup pin.

    Nikki then managed to counter a Riptide for a pin attempt, and the fought out of a superplex but Flair shoved her off the top rope and dropped Ripley with a big boot.

    Flair then hit a exploder on Nikki, and a Natural Selection on Ripley before she grabbed the championship belt and held it over everyone for her statement.

    A vignette where Elias burned his guitar and said Elias is dead aired, giving an opening for a new character.

    Returning backstage, Flair said she saw an opportunity to rub salt in their wounds, and if they were on her level would’ve anticipated her attack.

    Orton was then asked why he distanced himself from Riddle, and he said he works better alone and without the distractions of a teammate or friends.

    Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles w/Omos

    The knee braces, if that’s what they were, are gone and Orton looked fine ass he went after Styles early on and hit an uppercut and then hung Styles up on the top rope.

    Orton stomped Styles and followed him to the floor when Styles rolled out of the ring. He slammed Styles’ face into the announce desk and then stared down Omos.

    Styles took advantage and hit a baseball slide, and then a forearm over the top rope as we headed to commercial.

    Back from the break, they’re back in the ring and Styles firing away with several strikes and a basement dropkick for a pin attempt.

    The two exchanged blows in the middle of the ring and Orton hit a series of clotheslines and a powerslam for a near pinfall.

    Orton countered a whip into a backbreaker for a pin attempt and put Styles on the top rope.

    Styes slipped under to avoid a superplex and rolled Orton up for a Calf Crusher but Orton reached the bottom rope.

    Orton hit Styles with a clothesline on the apron, then hit a draping DDT and readied to hit an RKO but Omos pulled Styles toward the ropes and away from him.

    Orton and Omos exchanged words, and Styles hit a step up kick. Riddle ran in and shoved Omos into a ring post and locked in a sleeper, but Omos slammed him against the ring psot to break it.

    In the ring, Styles went for a Phenomenal Forearm Orton countered with an RKO for the win.

    Riddle tried to get him to give him another chance but Orton wasn’t happy and tried to leave. Riddle asked him to listen to the people chanting R-K-Bro, and they embraced.

    Still together?

    Orton took the opportunity to hit Riddle with an RKO while they were celebrating as the show went off the air.

    This was a fun match and we expected Orton to drop Riddle, though we would’ve loved to see them stick together.

    Maybe at some point the WWE will realize they don’t have to constantly break up popular tag teams the fans want to see? But then they’ve been doing this for a few decades so any change is doubtful.

    Of course, there’s reason to think they’ll still be together. This should be interesting.
