Prince Harry was pictured at a charity polo match in Colorado, which was the first time that he had engaged in official work duties since the birth of his daughter Lilibet.
Prince Harry Raises Millions For Charity
Harry, for his part, is known for giving back to his community. And this event was no exception, as it continued the long list of philanthropic activities that he has been engaging in since his departure from the Royal family.
But rather than just being there to make up the numbers, Harry was keen on leaving a long-lasting impression. And so it showed, as Harry had reportedly scored two goals to allow his side to gain a 3-2 victory over their rivals.
And his efforts were greatly appreciated by his teammates, in particular Harry’s close friend Nacho Figueras. The latter is an Argentinian polo player, and he made sure that Harry got his credit. In a post to his fans on Instagram, Nacho shared a picture of the two standing side-by-side after the game.
They have huge smiles on their faces. The post was captioned by the following comments: “How lucky I am to be able to ride along with you in your mission of making the world a better place for people not as fortunate as us.
“It is your commitment and passion to give back that is my inspiration. It was so great spending a couple of days with you, my friend.”
The event was a huge success for several reasons. First of all, it created mass publicity that would hopefully encourage other big-name personalities to get involved.
Secondly, it delivered what it promised to do: raise money. According to reports, Harry had helped to raise £2.5 million. And it is hoped that these funds will be given to those who need them most. In an official statement about the event, Harry said: “The Sentebale Polo Cup is critical.
“I’m thrilled to be able to support [it]…This is one of several donations I plan to make to charitable organisations, and I’m grateful to be able to give back in this way for the children and communities.”
It is great to see Harry contributing to some positive causes. Let us know what you think in the comment section down below. Remember to stay up to date with the latest news on TheOvertimer. Don’t forget to visit Screenstinger for great videos, news, and gameplay!
