Duchess Camilla is reportedly unhappy with Meghan Markle over the damage she had caused since her exit from the Royal family.
Duchess Camilla Will Not Forgive Meghan Markle
Meghan, for her part, made some shocking revelations in her Oprah Winfrey interview, which cast doubt on the integrity of the Royal family. This included accusations of racism against Meghan’s son Archie.
Regardless of whether they were true or not, Prince Charles was left deeply hurt by the manner in which it was all communicated to the media. He was outraged that such issues were not resolved behind the scenes.
Naturally, that has left Camilla feeling betrayed as she has been left to pick up the pieces by herself and make sure that Charles is fine. A source said: “[Megxit] was really hard for him. I don’t think the Duchess will ever forgive Meghan for what she’s done to the Prince of Wales.”
This would be a surprise, given that Meghan had not called out Camilla in her interview. The reason why Camilla may feel this way is that she was instrumental in helping Meghan to settle in during her entrance into the Royal family.
After all, Camilla is fully aware of what it takes, given that she had experienced a similar thing when she married Charles after the death of Princess Diana. That is why their relationship was good at first.
The source added: “They clearly really like each other. There is real warmth and support. Camilla has been very helpful to Meghan.” Nevertheless, with time Meghan may be able to win people over.
After all, her relationship with Kate Middleton has improved drastically. They have been reaching out more and more following the birth of Meghan’s new daughter Lilibet.
