After he left WWE programming following one final loss to Roman Reigns, speculation truly started to run wild in regards to the career of Daniel Bryan. His contract was up, and he was free to go wherever he pleased, making the option of sticking with WWE seem unlikely. One of the main spots that fans were hoping to see him was AEW, which might very well be where he pops up… and sooner than fans realize.
Daniel Bryan Expected To Now Debut At All Out
In a report from BodySlam.net’s Cassidy Haynes, we would learn that not only has Bryan reportedly already signed with AEW, but is set to make his debut as part of All Out. This follows up CM Punk’s debut and him teasing Bryan showing up. During his first time on AEW Dynamite, fans would start a ‘Yes!” chant, and Punk would mention that’s someone else’s thing, and they’ll need to be a bit more patient.
This really made it obvious that Bryan was coming, but fans assumed he would make his debut at the Arthur Ashe Stadium show. Instead, he will now seemingly make his debut at the already stacked PPV of All Out.
Why Not The Arthur Ashe Stadium Show?
The reason why AEW changed their mind on when to publicly debut Daniel Bryan could have to do with rising concerns in regards to COVID-19 restrictions with New York. The Arthur Ashe Stadium show could end up not having quite as big of a crowd as expected due to this. This situation makes sense as to why they would want to ensure Bryan gets in front of a huge crowd with the sold out All Out.
When he shows up on the show is still unknown. He might show up following the match between CM Punk & Darby Allin, confront the winner of the AEW World Championship match, or even take aim at the TNT Champion Miro. He will be a huge name for AEW, arguably as big as CM Punk.
