CM Punk has shaken the professional world with his return and appearing on AEW Dynamite and Rampage, but it also looks like he might be sending some messages about Adam Cole Bryan and Bray Wyatt’s future.
Punk isn’t a stranger to dangling the carrot for fans to chase as he’s done it off and on for years and it’s something we love about him. He’s a master at provoking and trolling, and he may be at it again.
Follow the WWE releasing a bunch of talent over the last year and others walking away when they couldn’t come to terms on their contracts, there’s plenty out there for him to tease us with.
As luck would have it, he reportedly has done so in a small, hard to spot fashion.
But @squaredcircletribe may have found something interesting and we’re going to run with it.

Initials tell a story
As the image on @squaredcircletribe linked above and in the Youtube video shows, Punk wrote AC and BW on different pairs of sneakers.
This is pure speculation, but we think he’s touting Adam Cole and Bray Wyatt as future signings for AEW.
There have been plenty of rumor about both of them going there as Adam Cole is dating Britt Baker and has friends there, and Bray Wyatt would be perfect to take over the Dark Order in homage to his friend, Brodie Lee.
Devil’s advocate
How true is all of this?
It’s something we’re going to have to wait and see, but it’s also interesting how Punk has mentioned he couldn’t wait to work with AEW’s talent that have a love for the business he had before it was squashed out of him.
That may not be anything but a shot at the WWE and Vince McMahon’s micromanaging style, but it could also be he’s trying to plant the idea in their heads that there’s possibly a better life elsewhere.
It fits in perfectly with his trolling nature, and it may not amount to much, but given he managed to sell out an NBA arena just on the possibility of him being there so there’s no doubting he has everyone’s attention.
The fact various WWE people (Booker T, R-Truth) have come out and tried to downplay him for one reason or another could be telling or their legitimate thoughts. It’s hard to tell with wrestling.
One thing for sure is for whatever reason, CM Punk teased Adam Cole and Bray Wyatt on AEW TV. Can’t get much better than that for an endorsement.
