I’m your host, CP Bialois, and we’re set for a fun night of matches and stipulations as we head toward Victory Road.
We’re stoked to see which former X-Division champion will accept Josh Alexander‘s open challenge and whether Tommy Dreamer can find a way to defeat Ace Austin to get a shot at the Impact World Championship.
So much going on, we’re going to grab some snacks and be back to get things rolling at 8:30 p.m. EST to get Impact Wrestling Live Results rolling.
Segment 1
Before The Impact (BTI) – John Skyler vs. Jake Something
This was a good match as Skyler gave a gutsy performance but Jake’s power was too much for Skyler’s throwback style. Jake hit a Black Hole Slam to seal the win.
Segment 2
The Influence (Madison Rayne, Tenille Dashwood, Kaleb with a K) vs. Taylor Wilde, Jordynne Grace, Rachael Ellering
Another good match had plenty of back and forths before Wilde hit a Northern Lights Suplex on Kaleb (Once Grace and Rachael stopped the Influence’s interference) for the pin.
Segment 3
Decay (Crazzy Steve, Black Taurus) w/Rosemary and Havok vs. Fallah Bahh and No Way
Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans attacked Rosemary and Havok to lure them away, and with the fans solidly behind Decay, Steve hit a jumping DDT on Bahh for the win.
Segment 4
Moose and W. Morrissey teamed up to destroy Eddie Edwards and Sami Callihan is next. This should be a great rivalry.
Segment 5
X-Division Championship – Josh Alexander (c) vs. Jake Crist
Seeing Crist back was a pleasant surprise and he came close a couple of times, but Alexander survived and hit a C-4 Spike to win.
Afterwards, Alexander said he wants to put himself in the discussion of greatest X-Division champions ever, and Chris Sabin came out and challenged him to prove it against him.
Looks like we have an awesome match set up for Victory Road.
Segment 6
Rohit Raju and Shera vs. Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green
This was a quick one where Rohit took a lot of punishment as Shera refused to fight Green, but Rohit hit a rising knee on Green for the win.
Segment 7
Ace Austin w/Madman Fulton vs. Tommy Dreamer
This was a better match than we expected, and Dreamer could’ve had the DQ win but he slid off Fulton’s shoulders instead of being run into the ring post and took Fulton out with a DDT.
Austin hit a Fold for the win as Dreamer stepped back into the ring.
This was a pretty good show over all with some fun backstage moments and matches.
