Meghan Markle has destroyed the image of the Royal family, ever since she left and spoke out in that infamous Oprah Winfrey interview.
US Republican Blasts Meghan Markle- ‘I think She Is A Disgrace’
That is according to US Republican Anthony Sabatini. Regardless of whether you believe Meghan’s claims, the manner in which it was done has created a huge uproar.
Meghan stated that racist remarks were made against her son, Archie for fears over his skin colour, as well as being driven to the thought of suicide. The interview was also released at a time when the late Prince Philip was hospitalised.
This was in addition to reports that Meghan had bullied some members of the Royal staff. And the accumulation of all this has led to Anthony feeling outraged.
In an interview with The Express, he said: “I think she is a disgrace……as a whole I think she has done more to harm and destroy public perception of what was a noble and well-respected institution in Western civilisation – the Royal Family.”
That feeling is generally accepted within the UK, but overseas, Meghan has been praised for her bravery. She has plans to use her experiences in the Royal family and help women who have suffered through the pandemic to get back to work through her 40-40 campaign, which offers a mentoring scheme.
Despite Meghan’s desire to right her wrongs, Anthony was not having any of it. And he called on the US to treat her with similar scorn. He added: “I think she should be reprimanded by every US official for the horrible things she has said and has implied.”
And yet, Anthony could be called out to defend those words as Meghan has flirted with the idea of running for President. It is not clear whether she is seriously considering it, but Anthony has already made his position clear about that.
He continued: “My advice to her would be stay home and delete her PR firm!” It is safe to say that Anthony will not be backing a potential Meghan presidency, but she still has plenty of support in the US to have a voice.
