Andrade is one of the AEW’s ex-WWE signings. Since then, he has had a slow burn with him not really doing anything. His big match seemed to be on All Out, but his opponent PAC couldn’t make it to Chicago due to travel issues, most likely from the UK. The match has been rescheduled for Friday night Rampage. It seems like Andrade may be frustrated about the change even though it looks like it could have been changed.
The frustration?
A deleted Tweet suggesting that AEW put Andrade on Rampage similar to Heat, an old WWE show that was part of TV programs that failed after a short period of highs. Someone tweeting something like this isn’t big news, but the fact that Andrade did actually like this Tweet before it was deleted seems to suggest that Andrade is frustrated with the move of his match from All Out to Rampage.
Is there a better way AEW could have changed the match?
Tony Khan has said that Rampage is not going to be considered a B grade show. But it’s hard not to compare both shows. If Andrade does think that Rampage is the B grade show, that is kind of understandable. There is also the fact that maybe a replacement match should have been put in place in the PPV. It does feel like going from PPV to Rampage is a slight misstep. They are making the most out of a situation that is out of everyone’s control.
