WWE Smackdown Results returned as the Smackdown Women’s Championship contract signing was about to happen with Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville presiding.
Lynch wasn’t in the ring and Belair chose to hold off signing so she could connect with the fans. Shows they learned from last week when she was left to flounder.
She said she respected Lynch, and the one thing she respects the most if how Lynch never ran from a fight but that’s changed.

Belair said that Lynch knows if they do go toe to toe it’ll be a different story than at SummerSlam and she signed.
Lynch then came out wearing a faux fur coat and wearing sun glasses and she announced the original WrestleMania main eventer has arrived.
She said she saw Belair was star struck and said she can be the fan or be the Man.
She then asked if she doesn’t sign the contract, and Belair told her to sign it as did Deville and Pearce.
Lynch called out the fans for not being treated right after her return. Despite the crowd noise, the people at ringside look pretty quiet.
Lynch signed the contract and threw it at Belair and left.
Backstage, Heyman was on the phone about Lesnar when he was ambushed by Kayla Braxton again for an update about Reigns accepting Lesnar’s challenge.
He said after Reigns watches the Usos’ match he’ll give his answer.
He then turned around and ran into a elated Big E.

Edge started it off with an armbar that Rollins reversed into one of his own.
After exchanging holds, Rollins hit a dropkick on Edge’s right knee, and his strategy confused Edge early on.
Edge sent Rollins face first into the turnbuckle then threw him between the ropes and into the ring post.
Rollins rolled to the floor and pulled Edge out after him to throw him into the barricade. Entering the ring, Edge caught him and hung him up on the ropes.
Rollins knocked Edge to the floor with a knee to the back, then hit a suicide dive as we headed to commercial.
Back from commercial, they’re still on the floor and Rollins sent him into the barricade.
After fighting out of a arm lock, Rollins hit a dragonscrew and kicked away on Edge’s left leg and hit a Glam Slam and then a second one for a pin attempt.
After exchanging finisher attempts, Edge hit the Pedigree for a pin attempt.
Edge hit an axhandle off the top rope to the floor as we headed to commercial.

Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring and Edge hit a full nelson slam for a pin attempt.
Rollins caught Edge on the top rope, but Edge blocked the superplex and sent Rollins to the floor and leaped down and locked in an Edgecator.
Rollins managed to throw Edge into the corner to break it but Edge locked in an crossface but Rollins made it to the ropes.
Edge hit a Edgeucation, but Rollins countered his spear with a neckbreaker, and Edge caught his Stomp attempt for a sit out powerbomb for a near pinfall.
Edge countered another Stomp attempt with a spear for a near pinfall.
Rollins hit a low blow, a kick to the knee, and then a superkick and a second one and a third and then a Stomp for the win.
This was an awesome match and easily the match of the night in WWE Smackdown Results opinion.
The ref called for EMTs and they brought a stretcher as Rollins watched.
