‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) revealed his big “secret” past today and it was a joke, to say the least. Basically, he changed his name? Seriously? What a crock.
With this much buildup, we were expecting something serious. This is clearly a cover story that looked like he was making up as he went. Typical, bad parents, left when he was young and didn’t look back. Geez, we’ve never heard this story.
Plus, he didn’t even tell us who “he” was like he said he would. No name, no parents name, no city of origin. Just that he changed his name and his parents died.
“The family gathers around so Ashland can tell them what his intentions really are.”

It was clearly a cover to get them off his back and to stop digging into his past. While it may have worked on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), for the moment, it certainly didn’t on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Ashland knows this.
He also knows that Billy is not going to stop digging and even confronted him in his office at the end of today! Ashland, we know you did more than change your name, you’re just worried that whatever you’re hiding, Billy is going to find.
I don’t think this is going to stop Billy at all, and in fact, it’s going to make him even more certain of himself and on a quest to find out the truth behind Ashland Locke! What’s he hiding and why doesn’t he want it coming up?
