Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have confirmed the arrival of their first child, much to the delight of the Royal family and public alike.
Princess Beatrice And Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi Welcome Their First Child Together
The duo, for their part, have had a wonderful period of late. The couple decided to get married in 2020 and soon set out their plans to start a family.
While Edoardo does have experience when it comes to children, having had a son with his ex-fiancée, Dara Huang, this is completely new for Beatrice.
That is why there is such excitement at the news. In a statement given by the Royal family on behalf of the couple, they said: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter.
“The baby weighs 6 pounds and 2 ounces.” This news is even more delightful in light of the fact that Beatrice’s sister Princess Eugenie had also welcomed her son in August of this year.
Although there were concerns over the birth, due to the fact that it was happening amid the pandemic, the staff were on hand to make sure that everything was fine.
The statement added: “The family would like to thank all the staff at the hospital for their wonderful care. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”
The timing for the Royal family could not have come at a better time. With there being so much talk about whether the Royals would ever see Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter Lilibet, the attention can now be drawn away from that, even if it is for a short period.
And with Beatrice having had a safe pregnancy, it will not be long before her baby is introduced to the public. Sources confirmed as much: “Her Royal Highness and child are both doing well.”
It is wonderful to see the duo doing so well in their lives. They had wanted a family for some time, and now they can focus on being the best possible parents that they can be. And we wish them the best wishes with things going forward in their lives.
