On Sunday night’s episode, fans watched Steven and Alina reunite in Antalya, where they were all over each other when they were alone. Alina wanted to stay with her man as per her mum’s instructions and he didn’t want to cancel his hostel room booking.
Although Steven made a good first impression on fans when he rushed to hug Alina at the airport, he grossed them out when they got to the apartment and he kept saying that he couldn’t sleep in there due to the risk of skoodilypoop-ing.
“I don’t believe that there is no way to control yourself,” Alina said and Steven added, “If we were sleeping in the same area it’d be a lot more tempting to skoodilypoop,” which he said meant “having sex, intercourse.” Viewers quickly reacted to the scene. TLC viewers wanted to know if it was a “Mormon thing” which it apparently wasn’t. Fans have agreed that the TLC star is “creepy AF” and describing sex in a childish way shows that he is not mature enough to have a physical relationship.
Some fans recalled the “boom boom” used by David Toborowsky and Annie Suwan and “jiggy jiggy” used by Laura and Aladin Jallali of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 1. Meanwhile, UrbanDictionary described skoodilypoop as “a term phrased by John Green in the Literature crash course. Means to have sex.”
Alina suspected that her man wanted to see other women, and that’s why he didn’t want them to stay together. He told her that she had to prepare for her baptism.
Now fans are calling him a hypocrite for gaslighting Alina on the show. The preview for episode 5 shows things will a turn when Alina reveals she is ready to take the next step with Steven, but he says that he is not ready.
