‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to kick the week off with some fun spoilery goodies.
We’re going to have an interesting episode to start things off with some familiar storylines circling back, but there’s a chance we’ll get a couple of plot twists.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, September 27: Victor picks a side against Billy
At some point Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s hatred for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will come back to bite him if the writers actually go into unchartered waters, and this could be the one time.
Victor’s made his feelings clear, and he’s accepted Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi) as his son-in-law after his touching rebranding of Victor’s childhood story.
As such, he’s going to offer his help to Ashland to defend himself against Billy and have a potentially bigger hand in hurting Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Victor will avoid the backlash if that happens and dump it all on Billy while taking all of the credit without flinching if it works out.
Just another Victor and Billy war. Rinse and repeat.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, September 27: Devon to the rescue
We expect to see a lot more of this as Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is in a solid and comfortable relationship only to be drawn into a love affair with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).
Of course, we’ll also see more character assassination of Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) when Abby reaches out to Devon to help her with Dominic.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect Dominic to either have a fever or be in a stubborn phase where he won’t want to sleep for Abby, so she’ll call in the reserves.
This will lead to Devon having the magic touch and then the two of them will talk about life, Chance, and how Abby has it so hard and her dreams aren’t coming true.
While we don’t think anything will happen between them for a few months, this will be the first step in them becoming an item down the road.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, September 27: Mariah’s plot, er, plan
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) thinks Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) having a baby will solve her problems and help her get better, but Tessa’s understandably hesitant.
Mariah won’t be deterred as she’ll drop some hints to what she wants through comments, pointing out various items that would look cute on Tessa or the baby, and so on.
We’re curious if Tessa will finally try to get Mariah the help she needs, or will the lazy writing keep letting it go unchecked until Mariah really snaps?
We have a feeling that things are going to get worse before they get better in this one.
