Rhea Ripley‘s main roster run has had its ups and downs. Starting off in the main event after being one of the most popular women throughout WWE. Rhea’s main event win in NXT for the women champions was one of the only weeks where NXT beat AEW in the Wednesday night wars.
However, now she has been thrown out of the main event into a random tag team with another wrestler who has been quickly thrown out of the main event Nikki Cro…Ash. After this, it’s not a massive surprise that Rhea would be happy to return to NXT, but she’s not sure about NXT 2.0
Rhea Ripley would go back to NXT in a heartbeat
Speaking to Battleground Podcast:
“I would love to, honestly. I miss NXT right now. How it’s all changed, I don’t know if I’d really fit in, but when it was the metal scene and very grungy, I love that NXT.
Not saying that the one now is bad or anything, but it’s definitely more for like the up-and-comers, and everyone’s there trying to make a name for themselves. But saying that, I would definitely go back in a heartbeat, especially to help my girl, Raquel Gonzalez. I don’t like when she gets jumped. Yeah, I got her back.”
Could we see Rhea Ripley back in NXT?
We have seen wrestlers return to NXT from the main roster with Finn Balor, Samoa Joe and Mandy Rose in the past. However, the new NXT 2.0 has changed everything a lot, but Mandy Rose could return to NXT. So it’s very possible that one of the best stars in NXT could return to bust up their views.
Maybe a tag team run in NXT with Nikki Ash or a single run against the newer wrestler again. Rhea is still in the NXT 2.0 age group, making it even more likely that she will make a return at some point in the future.
