October is Domestic Violence Awareness month and 90 Day Fiancé star, Tania recently shared her own history with an abusive family member via Instagram. The ex-wife of Syngin Colchester recounted the story of her stepfather, who seemed like a decent man at first.

Tania said that the Trauma left her with nightmare and PTSD, and that due to a broken legal system, her stepdad “still walks free to this day.” Tania said that “So many don’t live to tell their stories. Viewers know that abuse is nothing new on the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. Geoffrey Paschel isn’t the only one with a domestic violence conviction. There have been many other instances of many abusive behavior on and off the TLC show.
Fans have called out cast members and even TLC several times, but unfortunately, the network has allowed abusers on the show on more than one occasion. Now, it’s good to see one of the cast members making efforts to promote awareness domestic violence. Hopefully, most cast members will share their own experience.
