WWE Smackdown Results returned for a recap of Brock Lesnar’s appearances and putting Paul Heyman between him and Roman Reigns as he’s caused them headache after headache.
Naomi vs. Sonya Deville and Shayna Baszler
As expected, Sonya Deville came out and put a stop to the match to inform Naomi there are details to her match, and it’s Naomi versus Shayna Baszler.
Well, that certainly changes things.
As soon as the bell rang, Deville slugged Naomi and then ducked out of the ring.
Naomi dropped Baszler with a kick, then chased Deville around the ring. Deville caught her with a running knee when Naomi tripped Baszler and Baszler held Naomi for her.

Deville mocked her and told her she failed like she always does as she hammered away. Naomi fought free and hit a springboard kick off the roped, but Devilled stopped her.
Baszler locked in the Kirafuda Clutch and then pinned Naomi after she passed out.
Rollins responds to Edge
Rollins stood in the ring stoically as the fans jeered him, and he then broke into a maniacal laugh and mocked Edge for trying to convince everyone that he has a chance.
Rollins said it’s the best joke he’s heard in some time, and he’s not intimidated or afraid to face Edge in Hell in a Cell.

He relished in Edge admitting he was wrong that Rollins isn’t Edge Lite and he’s better than Edge in every way.
He pointed out that he has the mental and physical edge, so Edge has an ace up his sleeve.
Rollins said once more he’s not afraid or intimidated to face Edge in hell in a cell and the fans started chanting “We want Edge.”
He pointed out he’s spent more time in the cell than Edge, and he knows what it does. Guess this is a reference to the debacle against the Fiend.

Carmella decided she didn’t need the mask, and rolled up Vega for a pin attempt during their first lockup. Vega returned the favor with a similar result.
Carmella locked in an armbar and grounded Vega down, but Vega slipped free for a rollup pin attempt and then ate a superkick.
Carmella tried to tell her she didn’t mean it, and Vega took her down and started hammering on her. She slipped to the floor for her mask, but Live Morgan took the mask and chased her back into the ring.
Vega caught her entering and rolled her up in a small package for the win and to move onto the finals.
At least this match went longer than WWE Smackdown Results expected.
