This should be an interesting night as it’s starting a new era following the draft and there’s a possibility of so many new storylines.
We’re excited, so let’s get to the action!
Roman Reigns started the show off by coming out to explain how once again he needed help to retain his championship. His reign really needs an asterisk next to it.
Reigns asked Heyman if he’s holding the title for him or Lesnar, and mentioned how Heyman threw the title into the ring for them to fight over and had Heyman hand it over to him.
Reigns then mocked him and told him he’s not great at his job, but Reigns is. He said he’s the best of the best and carried WWE on his back for a year and a half.
He proclaimed himself the greatest Universal Championship of all time because he smashed everyone.
Reigns then got to Lesnar and asked Heyman to repeat what he said and Heyman read off the quote. Afterwards, Reigns smiled wide and laughed.
He then informed Lesnar he’s not going anywhere, and asked the fans if they want to see Brock Lesnar and the fans responded with an affirmative, and then when asked if they want to see him whoop him again.
He then demanded to be acknowledged as our tribal chief and refused to leave the ring until Lesnar shows up.

Lesnar arrives
We returned to Reigns talking smack for Lesnar not showing and claimed Lesnar fears him.
Just when Reigns was about to leave the ring Lesnar came out. He duicked Reigns’ swing with the title and nailed Reigns with a clothesline and then another to send him to the floor.
Lesnar followed him out and threw Reigns into the ring steps after Reigns tried to fight him off. Lesnar then made eye contact with Heyman before grabbing the steel steps and ramming them into Reigns.
After clearing off the announce table for an F-5, the Uso rans out and Lesnar took out both of them. Reigns attacked from behind and Lesnar drove him back first into the ringpost.
Lesnar took a camera from the cameraman but Reigns ducked as it hit the ring post, and Lesnar stormed through officials and wrestlers to try to get to Reigns.
Lesnar rolled into the ring and grabbed the title as Reigns retreated to the back and WWE Smackdown Results loved every second of it.
No question on who should’ve won yesterday.
