Brandon Cutler is one of the weaker members of The Elite – but he remains a skilled wrestler with many tricks up his sleeve. He will have to pull some of those tricks out if he hopes to overcome Jungle Boy tonight, as they meet in singles action. Cutler really hasn’t wrestled much on Dynamite, but maybe tonight he will get his first win on the flagship show of the promotion.
But First, Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky Have Something To Whine About
Before we’d get to this match, Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky hit the ring. These two would be bragging about beating The Inner Circle twice now, and complaining that they still don’t get big chances. They only got ring time this week because Chris Jericho is off holding a cruise. Even with American Top Team about
Sammy Guevara is here however, and the TNT Champion would call out Page & Sky for coming out to cry on TV. He just wanted to know the stipulation for a 10 man tag with Inner Circle & American Top Team at Full Gear. All Guevara has to do is defend against Page next week, with the TNT Championship on the line – and a loss kicks him out of The Inner Circle.
It’s high stakes – and when Guevara wins, he picks the members of American Top Team who team with Sky & Page at Full Gear. Sky & Page tried to get some early blows in on Guevara, but Santana & Ortiz were here to help, with Hager in tow too. They’d be run off, and next week Guevara defends that TNT Championship!
The Elite Get The Last Laugh On Jungle Boy
The bell rang and Cutler was sent right outside with a lariat. A tope suicida took Cutler down, before back in the ring Cutler tried to hit a Panama Sunrise. Jungle Boy had a counter in mind, and would slap the taste out of the mouth of Cutler before a powerbomb dropped him. Snare Trap was applied, and this one was over in record time for Jungle Boy.
After the match, he’d get the microphone and called this a warm up. He was still ready to go – if one of the members of The Elite is man enough to face him. No one would come, so he locked on the Snare Trap and made him beg for help. Adam Cole would come to the ramp, call Jungle Boy a bully for picking on Cutler, and said that now he’s got a fight.
Cole hit the apron and was dropped with a forearm, before Young Bucks snuck into the ring for a superkick party. Now three on one, Jungle Boy was being beaten down. The crowd chanted for Luchasarus to make the save, but no one saved him from BTE Trigger and The Boom. He was barely crawling, but The Elite weren’t done. They threw him off the stage and through a table.
