This should be an awesome show and we’re stoked to see Awesome Kong inducted into the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame and more coming, so let’s buckle up for the ride.
Countdown to Glory Preshow – Awesome Kong to be Inducted into the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame
Matt Striker and D’Lo Brown welcomed us to the show and after a rundown of the matches for the night, they segued into Awesome Kong’s Hall of Fame Induction with a video tribute to her.
Gail Kim, Mickie James, Madison Rayne, Rachael Ellering, and Deonna Purrazzo shared their thoughts on Awesome Kong and thanked her in the package.
Gail Kim then came out to and gave a speech about Awesome Kong and how they first met. She hadn’t seen Kong until their first match and we can see Kim saying “Oh sh–!” and it was her legitimate thought.

They kept having matches and she had an opportunity to create magic with Kong, and thanked TNA’s management in 2007 for giving her and Kong that opportunity.
Kim talked about how once Kong threw her back out before a match, so they kept pushing it down the card and how she told Kong she’d slap her if she lost it in the ring to motivate her.
Kong told her they’re the type of friends where she wanted Kim to do that. She then thanked Kong from the bottom of her heart and introduced Awesome Kong.
Once at the podium, Kong was speechless at first as the fans thanked her, and then said Kim took her speech so she’ll have to come up with something.
She thanked Impact and the executives for thinking she’s worth this, and then thanked the fans for staying true to TNA/Impact and keeping it alive.

Kong thanked God for giving her someone like Gail Kim to work with and said she’s the reason she’s there.
She then thanked Dutch Mantel and Scott D’Amore for giving them every chance and not shaving minutes off their matches just because they were women. She then thanked her husband for always being there.
She then addressed the people at hope that think they can’t make it, and said to believe in our dreams and don’t let anyone tell us we can’t do it. If she had listened to the naysayers she wouldn’t be there.
The Knockouts division came out to celebrate with her and Kong embraced them one by one.

And Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory Results are getting into the action with a fun match to kick things off.
This is going to be a blink and you miss it, so here we go.
The women started on one side and the men on the others, and Skyler started to play to the crowd, so Steve bit him and everyone jumped on him.
They paired off and one by one headed to the floor to leave Grace and Bahh in the ring, and Grace dropped him with a shoulder block and a Vader Bomb for a near pinfall.
Kyler nailed her from behind, then threw Green into a corner and put her on the top rope, but she fought him off and hit a missile dropkick.
Steve came in and dropped Green, then Kaleb grabbed his leg for Rayne to get the advantage to hit a tornado DDT.

Green dropped her and hit a stomp for a pin attempt Grace broke up.
Grace held Green for a Muscle Buster and clothesline Rayne, but the rest came in, so she three Rayne and Green onto Steve in the corner.
Steve locked in an Upside Down on both women, and Bahh threw Grace into the corner and hit them all with a splash.
Skyler dropped Green from behind, but Grace caught him and hit a Grace Driver for the win.
Congratulations to Jordynne Grace as the first Digital Media Champion. This was a fun match, and we can’t wait to see what else is to come.
